After spending some time working in a local tackle shop, it's become obvious to me that the interest in catching bream on lures, and soft plastics in particular, is growing at a healthy rate. While some of us would think that by now every man and his dog, and his dog's fleas, would have a good understanding of which lures work best for bream, I can assure you that ain't the case.
For every hardcore bream-luring nut there are 10, 20 or 50 people out there who are somewhere along the bream lure learning curve. The bottom end of that curve can seem steep and bewildering.
Those who have climbed about half-way along can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but the higher we move along the curve, the more the light can slowly creep away from us. In other words, if we stop learning we may end up slipping backwards.
